ARC
is
a 23 year old local
501(c)3non-profit located in Orlando dedicated to providing education
and support services for those families (and professionals) who
care for people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
Our focus is on “the forgotten victim”, the caregiver,
coping with isolation, depression, stress, guilt and much, much
more due to this devastating disease. We are also founding
members of the State of Florida Brain Bank Research Program, a
unique effort in providing research, education and diagnosis to
the medical communities and families of those suffering from
these diseases. Our agency is responsible for marketing the
program and working with families in a 15-county area.
There is no charge for services
offered by the Alzheimer Resource Center, but donations are
accepted.
